Air Fryer Steak Bites and Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

For the Steak Bites
  • 1 lb Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
For the Mushrooms
  • 8 oz Cremini mushrooms halved or quartered if large
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine steak cubes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. In the same bowl (or a separate one), combine the mushrooms with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss to coat.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the seasoned steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the seasoned mushrooms to the air fryer basket with the steak. Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other seasonings like onion powder or paprika to the steak or mushrooms. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
