Creamy Garlic Chicken Ramen

Creamy spicy chicken ramen is the ultimate cozy comfort bowl with tender fiery chicken, rich creamy broth, and a touch of chili heat.

Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 chicken breast chicken breast cut lengthwise into two
  • enough to cover cajun seasoning
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
Ramen
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 green onion green onion whites separated from greens
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 packet seasoning packets from ramen
  • 2 packs ramen
  • 1 soft boiled egg for serving
  • 1 green onion sliced, for garnish
  • crispy onions for garnish
  • chili oil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Mince the garlic, slice and separate the white and green of the green onion. Slice the chicken breast in half to form two cutlets and season well with cajun and salt & pepper.
  2. Drizzle some oil into a pan on medium heat. Add the chicken and fry for a few minutes on each side until cooked through and golden. In the last minute turn the heat to low and add the soy sauce, chili sauce, and honey to form a glaze. Mix to coat and remove the chicken.
  3. In the same pan add the minced garlic and white of the green onion. Fry for a couple minutes before adding the chicken broth, heavy cream, and seasoning packets. Bring to a simmer and taste test. Adjust as needed.
  4. In a separate pot boil the ramen according to package instructions.
  5. Serve your ramen in a large bowl with the broth, noodles, sliced chicken, and your desired toppings.
