Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces medium shells or ziti
For the Sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 24 ounce jar Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1.5 tsp. pepper
  • 1 parmesan rind
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup parmesan or peccorino romano
  • 1 cup mozzarella

Method
 

  1. In a dutch oven, brown the ground beef. Add salt and pepper. Pour in your sauce and add the parmesan rind. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes, or more if you have time.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Take your sauce off the heat and stir in the spinach, pasta, and milk. The sauce will turn a blush color.
  4. Put the lid on and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Remove the lid and add your mozzarella and romano or parmesan cheese.
  6. Allow the cheese to melt. You can broil it slightly if you wish.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
