Ingredients
  

For the Toast
  • 2 slices whole grain bread or English muffin or bagel
For the Topping
  • 1/2 avocado sliced
  • 1/4-1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2/3 cup cottage cheese
  • to taste hot honey
  • to taste red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt + black pepper
Optional Toppings
  • 1 everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 finely chopped herbs
  • 1 chili crunch
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 1 fried egg

Method
 

  1. Toast your bread until it is golden brown using a toaster or toaster oven.
  2. On each slice of toast, arrange the sliced avocado. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, ⅓ cup of cottage cheese, salt and pepper to your liking. Finish with a drizzle of hot honey and red pepper flakes if you like them spicy.
