- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil and grease it lightly.
- Place the salmon fillet skin side down on the prepared foil. Sprinkle it evenly with lemon pepper seasoning and onion salt.
- Top the salmon with the sliced onion rings and lemon slices. Dot the top with the cubed butter.
- Fold the foil around the salmon to create a sealed packet. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Carefully open the foil, allowing the steam to escape. Broil the salmon 4-6 inches from the heat for 3-5 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the dill sauce. Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped onion, lemon juice, prepared horseradish, dill weed, garlic salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Serve the baked salmon with the dill sauce.

Notes
This recipe is a lifesaver for busy evenings. The foil packet keeps the salmon moist, and the broiling step adds a nice finish. Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your preference.
