Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper for the marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers if desired, or place directly on the grill grates.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade for a little heat. Serve with rice or a side salad.
