Method
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return shredded chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir to coat.
- Serve the pulled BBQ chicken on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of BBQ sauce to your preference. For a spicier sandwich, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce mixture.
